AT Christmas time, the supermarket shelves are filled with hundreds of mouthwatering festive treats.
But if you’re struggling to decide which ones are really worth your money, then you’re in luck…because a huge foodie has shared his top 10 Aldi Christmas food products that everyone needs to try.
In the clip posted to TikTok (@bigdaddybsfoods), he begins in reverse order and says that at number 10 is the ‘gingerbread iced coffee.’
“It’s very sweet, ginger and cinnamon notes,” he says.
“If you like that type of thing, you will love this.”
For anyone looking for a great addition to the standard mince pie, the food fan “highly recommends” trying the ‘millionaire’s crumble mince pies,’ which he notes are again “very sweet but very yummy.”
At number 8 is the ‘popcorn Santa,’ which he says has a chocolate outer coat with a tasty popcorn type of filling centre.
“Very, very good,” he observes.
Up next is the ‘turkey and trimmings toastie’ which he describes as “banging,” followed by the “humble festive bake.”
“I love these – comfort food at its finest with a Christmas twist,” the foodie enthuses.
Placing fifth is the ‘brie and cranberry candy canes’ which he describes as a “hybrid pigs and blankets with very strong brie notes.”
He adds: “These are delicious.”
Also on his list is ‘giant Yorkshire pudding with pigs in blanket’ and
the ‘millionaire’s pudding,’ which he brands “decadent, luscious,
sweet and naughty.”
Taking the number two spot is the ‘millionaire’s bauble.’
“I don’t even need to talk about this product,” he says.
“Just go and buy it and eat it to yourself in a corner and you’ll be absolutely loving life.”
And, taking the foodie’s top spot is his favourite – the
‘pigs under cheesy blankets’ sub.
He notes: “This warmed up just hits the spot – sausage, bacon, that melted brie on top, and some sort of sweet chutney in there as well.
“Properly slaps!”
The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 132k views and several comments from social media users.
“Try their stollen in a pale blue box. Absolutely 1st class!” wrote one.
