Viral Fever in Bengaluru: Most Pakistan players have recovered while some still under observation | Cricket News – Times of India

On October 20, Pakistan is slated to take on Australia in a highly anticipated World Cup match in Bengaluru.
The Pakistani team had arrived in Bengaluru on Sunday after suffering a seven-wicket defeat to arch-rivals India in Ahmedabad the previous day.
Bengaluru, often referred to as the ‘Garden City,’ has experienced a number of viral fever cases in recent months, and it’s possible that the fluctuating weather conditions contributed to some minor health concerns among the visiting team members.
“Some players got fever in the past few days and most of them have fully recovered from it. Those who are in the stage of recovery remain under the team medical panel’s observation,” Ahsan told PTI on Tuesday.
He also confirmed that skipper and batting mainstay Babar Azam and pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi were doing fine.
The team trained at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday.
