Banaras-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express: PM Narendra Modi is all set to flag off a second Vande Bharat Express between the cities of Varanasi and New Delhi today. The first Vande Bharat Express between Varanasi and Delhi started service in February 2019. Vande Bharat Express is an all air-conditioned chair car service. The train will have 16 coaches – 14 Chair Cars and 2 Executive Chair Cars.
According to Indian Railways, the Delhi-Varanasi-Delhi Vande Bharat Express service is extremely popular.The main difference between the new Vande Bharat Express service being launched today and the one that already runs on the route is that the new one will originate from Banaras in the morning instead of Delhi. Hence,Indian Railways believes that it will help cater to demand from a different set of passengers – those looking to reach Delhi, Prayagraj or Kanpur from Varanasi in the morning.

Train number 22415 / 22416 Varanasi – New Delhi – Varanasi Vande Bharat Express schedule:

For its regular run, Train number 22415 Banaras-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will depart from Banaras at 6:00 AM to reach New Delhi at 2:05 PM. En route the train will stop at Prayagraj at 7:35 AM for 4 minutes and Kanpur at 9:32 AM for 4 minutes.
On the return journey the same day, Train number 22416 New Delhi-Banaras Vande Bharat Express will leave New Delhi at 3:00 PM to reach Banaras at 11:05 PM. En route the train will arrive at Kanpur at 7:18 PM and at Prayagraj at 9:26 PM.

In both the directions the new Vande Bharat Express will take 8 hours and 5 minutes, which is 5 minutes more than the first Vande Bharat Express between the two cities.
Train number 22415 / 22416 Banaras – New Delhi –

Banaras Vande Bharat Express will run on all days of the week except Tuesday. The first Vande Bharat Express between the two cities runs on all days except Thursday.
