Yamaha offers price benefits to Tamil Nadu customers, Toyota increases prices overall – Times of India

CHENNAI: Automobile industry is greeting the first month of 2024 with some price interventions. Motorcycle major Yamaha Motor India has announced special offers to celebrate harvest festival Pongal in Tamil Nadu.
Valid till January 31, 2024, the exclusive offers are currently applicable on Yamaha’s 150cc FZ model range, FZ16 and 125cc Fi Hybrid Scooters and applicable to TN customers only.The schemes include benefits of upto Rs 6,000 or Rs 1,999 down payment on the 150cc FZ-S Fi V4, FZ-S Fi V3 and FZ Fi. Also benefits of upto Rs 7,000 or zero down payment on the FZ-X and benefits of upto Rs 4,000 or zero down payment on the 125 Fi Hybrid Scooters: RayZR and Fascino.
Yamaha’s current product portfolio includes YZF-R3 (321cc), MT-03 (321cc), YZF-R15 V4 (155cc), YZF-R15S V3 (155cc), MT-15 V2 (155cc); FZS-Fi Version 4.0 (149cc), FZS-Fi Version 3.0 (149cc), FZ-Fi (149cc), FZ-X (149cc), and scooters like Aerox 155 (155cc), Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid (125cc), Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid (125cc) and Ray ZR Street Rally 125 FI Hybrid (125cc).
Toyota Kirloskar Motor on the other hand has announced between 0.5-2.5% increase in prices of select models and variants with effect from January 1, 2024. “This increase was necessitated to partially offset the rising input costs. However, the overall price adjustment has been carefully moderated, taking into account a minimum impact on our esteemed customers,” the company said in a statement.
