Missing 10-year-old at center of regional Amber Alert found safe Saturday evening, officials said.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 10-year-old girl was found safe on Saturday after a regional Amber Alert was sent out on Saturday evening, according to officials.

The Texas Center for the Missing sent out a notification around 9 p.m. for Kaitlin Harris who was last seen in the 500 block of Greens Road around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Authorities believed Kaitlin was in immediate danger.

In an update, around 9:45 p.m., officials notified the public that Kaitlin was safely located.

It was not made known by officials where she was found or if she was injured.
