Fronx Turbo Exterior Design
Following this, the presenter, before driving the Fronx Turbo, talks about the exterior design. He mentions that it is a fact this crossover is based on the outgoing Baleno. However, it looks nothing like a Baleno from the outside. The Fronx features a much more aggressive and muscular design language, which includes a lot more sharp creases and body lines.
He mentions that the stance of the Fronx is also very low, and it sits on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which look beautiful. Next up, he adds that the crossover gets LED lights all across. The front features a split headlamp design with top lights acting as both LEDs and turn indicators. He adds that the rear taillights are also LED units which get a smart-looking connected light in the middle.
Fronx Turbo Engine Specifications
After this, he starts off with the engine description of the Fronx Turbo. He mentions that the new Fronx Turbo gets the same engine as the Baleno RS, which was launched a few years ago as the sportier iteration of the premium hatchback. This time around, the company has named this engine the Boosterjet engine, which offers a respectable 100 bhp of power and 147 Nm of torque. The Fronx turbo offers both manual and automatic transmission options.
Fronx Turbo Performance
Following this, the presenter then tests the performance of the Fronx Turbo crossover. The first test he does is the top speed test on each gear. The Fronx Turbo on its first gear achieves 45 kmph speed, then in the second gear, it reaches 80 kmph, and in the third gear, it gets up to 130 kmph. After this, he performs the acceleration test. In this test, the Fronx Turbo does 0-100 kmph in just 10.5 seconds.
Fronx Turbo Driving Dynamics
Next up, the presenter takes the Fronx Turbo out on the twisty mountain roads to test its driving characteristics. He mentions that the Fronx Turbo is a lively car and it feels very punchier. The handling on the curves is also very stable and it inspires a lot of confidence. Apart from this, it also offers a very commanding position. Lastly, he adds that the Fronx also gets very comfortable yet supportive seats with big side bolsters that help in being planted while spirited driving.
Fronx Turbo Interior
Lastly, the presenter shows the interior of the Fronx and mentions that it has the same interior as the Baleno hatchback. It comes with the same 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the same air conditioning system controls. The overall theme of the interior is a little on the darker side, adds the presenter.
