2023 Skoda Slavia Ambition Plus in-depth walkaround [Video]

The Czech automaker Skoda India, in an attempt to lure in more buyers this festive season, has launched the all-new Slavia Ambition Plus variant. The company has launched this new variant with a starting price of Rs 12.49 lakh. Recently, a video showing this new festive season limited edition model in detail has been shared online.

The video walkaround of the new Skoda Slavia Ambition Plus variant has been shared online by GA Automotive on their channel. The video starts off with the presenter giving a brief introduction of the model. He mentions that this model gets a few minor cosmetic upgrades on the outside and a few additional features on the inside.

Skoda Slavia Ambition Plus engine and mileage

Following this, the vlogger mentions that this new variant comes only with the less powerful 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged TSI petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum of 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. This variant comes with the choice between a manual and an automatic transmission. The manual variant offers a mileage of 20.32 kmpl, meanwhile, the automatic transmission variant offers a mileage of 18.73 kmpl.

After this, the presenter mentions the model in front of him is finished in the shade of Tornado Red. In terms of changes, he states that the new Ambition Plus variant gets a chrome grille. This base Active variant misses out on this. Apart from this, it gets the same halogen-based headlights with LED DRLs and halogen turn indicators. It also gets halogen fog lamps as well.

Moving on to the side profile, not much has been changed in this variant. It only gets some additional chrome on the lower section of the doors. It comes with the same 16-inch silver-colored alloy wheels as the Ambition variant. After this, he moves to the rear of the vehicle, and the only thing different about this variant is the addition of a chrome strip between the two LED and halogen taillights.

Following the exterior updates, the presenter moves inside the sedan and shows the interior. He mentions that the Slavia Ambition Plus variant comes finished in a dual-tone scheme, which includes black and beige-colored trims. The seats get black leatherette upholstery. Meanwhile, the lower portion of the dashboard and other places get beige-colored elements.

In terms of upgrades, the new Ambition Plus variant gets a dual-camera dashcam from Skoda. This dashcam draws its power from the 12V socket on the center console. Apart from this, the sedan gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 3.5-inch TFT MID with analog instrument cluster gauges. The rest of the overall interior is pretty much the same as the standard Ambition model.
