The Tata Harrier facelift was recently launched in the country, and it has quickly become very popular. The car now boasts an extensive exterior and interior redesign. Now, the company, in order to push the sales of this mid-size SUV more, has released a brand new television commercial (TVC). This new TVC highlights the sporty nature of this SUV and shows its top three variants, namely the Dark Edition, Fearless+, and Adventure+.
The newest TVC of the 2023 Tata Harrier facelift has been shared on YouTube by Tata Motors Cars on their official channel. It starts off with three main protagonists taking the seats behind their Tata Harriers. The first female actress takes the seat behind the bright yellow Harrier Fearless+ variant. Meanwhile, the actor leaving a gym takes the seat inside the Dark Edition Harrier. Lastly, a photographer takes the steering wheel of the Adventure+ variant of the new Harrier facelift.
All three actors are then seen driving their specific Harriers in a spirited way. The main theme of this new TVC is to highlight the sporty and agile nature of the Harrier facelift. Towards the end, they drive the car in an open and dusty desert and show all three top-spec variants side by side. The video states, “We are Warriors, We are Harriers.”
2023 Tata Harrier Facelift
Back in October of this year, Tata Motors finally took the covers off the new Harrier. The new facelift gets a brand new futuristic-looking front fascia that boasts connected LED DRL. It also gets a brand new grille and new LED headlights that are housed inside a trapezoidal-shaped housing. The rear also gets connected LED taillights and a brand new bumper with a silver skid plate.
The interior has also been given an extensive upgrade. It gets electrically adjustable seats with a memory function, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, drive modes, paddle shifters, a full digital instrument cluster, a gloss black center console with touch buttons for AC control, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone AC, and a large 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment system, among other features. It also gets ADAS and 360-degree camera along with six airbags as standard.
Powertrain and Pricing
The all-new Tata Harrier facelift still comes powered by the same 2.0-liter Fiat-sourced Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine. This engine generates 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is available with both a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission option. As for the pricing, the Tata Harrier facelift starts at Rs 16.99 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 26.44 lakh, ex-showroom.
Tata Harrier EV
In other Tata Harrier news, it has been reported that the company next year in 2024 will be launching the Harrier EV, the electrified version of this mid-size SUV. According to reports, this new EV iteration will come equipped with a dual electric motor setup. This drivetrain will help the Harrier to offer an all-wheel-drive configuration for enhanced performance and stability across different terrains. As for the battery pack, it has been stated that the company will be offering a 60 kWh battery pack, which will help it achieve around 500 kms of range in a single full charge. It will be launched around Rs 20-30 lakh price range and will compete with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra XUV.e8.
