2025 Kia K4 debuts as Forte replacement – The Torque Report

Kia has unveiled the 2025 Kia K4, which is a replacement for the Forte compact sedan. While we don’t have all the specs yet, what we see here is a bolder sedan that’s wrapped in the brand’s latest design language.
Kia calls the styling “Opposites United”, which debuted with the 2024 Sorento and 2025 Carnival. It’s front and rear fascias are similar to the design of the updated 2025 K5 midsize sedan as well. It also features a fastback coupe-like roofline, just like the K5, but with a distinct D-pillar.
The K4’s cabin features a modern layout with a big display.
We don’t now yet what will power the new K4, but it’s expected to get the same engines as the Forte, which included a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder.
We’ll have all the details next week when the 2025 Kia K4 debuts at the New York Auto Show.
