Stutzle appeared to suffer a shoulder injury when he was hit by Florida’s Niko Mikkola during the first period of the loss. Stutzle finished the game and will accompany the club on the road, but likely won’t face the Washington Capitals Sunday night.

Later in the game, Sam Bennett also punched Stutzle in the throat.

Disappointed with the lack of response by anybody on the ice to the incident, the Senators recalled rugged forward Boko Imama from their American Hockey League affiliate in Belleville Saturday morning. He will suit up against the Devils and will likely be in the lineup against the Panthers.
