Oh, what a bizarre sequence of play.
Moana Pasifika put in a cute chip-and-chase and threaten to break the 22. They swing it from one side of the park to the other only for a tip-on pass to end up in no man’s land.
Damian McKenzie gathers it up and off-loads it to Emoni Narawa who kicks it down the field and chases after it himself.
None of Moana Pasifika’s men are fast enough to get to the ball first and Nawara ends up finishing the job himself. They lead 14-0.
