The Islamic State extremist group claimed responsibility for an attack on a music venue in Moscow that left at least 40 people dead and more than 100 wounded. The casualty figures and the number of attackers have not been confirmed. Russian authorities said they had launched a criminal probe into the March 22 attack, in which gunmen in camouflage fired automatic weapons at concertgoers.
