‘They Are Afraid’: Tajik Migrant Travel To Russia Plummets After Moscow Attack

Faced with increasing incidents of xenophobia following the Moscow terror attack, Tajiks are canceling travel plans to Russia. The four main suspects in the attack are Tajiks and many migrants from the Central Asian nation working in Russia say they have been increasingly targeted. At the main airport in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, a transportation worker told RFE/RL that people “are afraid to go to Russia.”
