On Saturday evening, Bayern defeated RB Leipzig 2-1, with Kane scoring both goals.
The Englishman opened the scoring with an expert finish into the bottom corner 10 minutes into the break. It did seem like it was going to be another disappointing night for Bayern as Benjamin Sesko scored with 20 minutes remaining on the clock to even things.
However, Kane beat the offside trap and stepped up to save the Bavarians again with an instinctual left-footed strike across goal into the corner in injury time.
Big win for Gladbach
Bochum found themselves on the wrong end of a demolition from Borussia Monchengladbach, who won 5-2 at home.
The hosts had five different scorers, too, and moved up to 11th after claiming all three points.
In one of their better results of the campaign, Darmstadt secured a 1-1 draw away at Werder Bremen. However, they remain 10 adrift of safety.
Elsewhere, the Bundesliga table continued to take shape following the weekend’s results after a few draws.
Union Berlin drew 2-2 at home to Heidenheim and high-flying Stuttgart drew 1-1 at home to Cologne.
