Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace Prediction: Team to Win, Form
[ad_1]
Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are two teams on the periphery of the relegation battle at the bottom of the table, but neither have reached that golden 40-point mark that will likely ensure survival.
The Cherries will get there as they are currently in 13th on 38 points as it would take a monumental drop in form for them to be pulled towards the bottom three.
Palace are eight points adrift of the relegation zone, but lying on 30 points overall is still a little too close for comfort.
Current Form
Bournemouth’s current form
Bournemouth earned a huge victory at the weekend over Everton, one which arguably guaranteed their place in the Premier League next season. A Dominic Solanke goal and a late own-goal from Seamus Coleman secures all three points over the weekend.
They have won three out of their last four league games versus Everton, Luton and Burnley.
Crystal Palace’s current form
Palace have won just one out of their last five and that came at home to Burnley towards the end of February.
They have collected points in their last two games – successive 1-1 draws versus Luton and Nottingham Forest – but it is victories that are needed to provide them that buffer to the bottom three.
Team News
Bournemouth will be without influential trio Luis Sinisterra, Marcos Senesi and Ryan Fredericks, while there are doubts over the fitness of Ryan Christie after he missed the Everton win due to a knock.
Tyler Adams started his first game for the hosts at the weekend, but two games so close together might come too soon for him after a six-month layoff so he could be rested.
For Palace, Cheick Doucoure, Matheus Franca, Marc Guehi, Rob Holding, Sam Johnstone and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi remain sidelined.
Michael Olise is expected back soon, but this game might be too early.
Scoreline Prediction
The Eagles have failed to win any of their nine Premier League away games so Bournemouth are certainly the favourites here.
