Alex Ferguson showed true feelings in “car crash” meeting with super-agent – Footymercato.com

Sir Alex Ferguson grew so enraged in a Paul Pogba-themed transfer meeting during his time at Manchester United that he caused tea to fly everywhere.
The legendary Scotsman was infamously not the easiest to negotiate with at Old Trafford. He made sure to be present for any talks with potential signings and current players regarding new contracts.
While he managed to seal a number of eye-catching signings during his time with United, Ferguson’s famous rage caused a meeting with Mino Raiola and Rafaela Pimenta regarding Paul Pogba to descend into chaos. Speaking with The Guardian, Pimenta said: “I cannot call that a meeting.
“I call it a train crash. It started bad, it ended bad. Sir Alex came in and he was so angry that he hit the table and our tea spilled everywhere. He was totally red. Mino was totally angry. It was a disaster.”

While the contents and the topic of the meeting have not been shared, it appears that it did no favours for Pogba’s chances of staying at Old Trafford. The Frenchman eventually left the club on a free transfer for Italian giants Juventus in the summer of 2012.
He went on to impress in Turin before a then record-breaking move back to Man United. The Red Devils eventually paid £89m to re-sign Pogba.
An inconsistent stint back in the Premier League once again ended with a free transfer to Juventus. Injuries have hampered his second spell with the Old Lady, while he is now facing the prospect of a ban after failing a drugs test.

Pimenta has promised to continue defending the midfielder during his career including during transfer negotiations. She added: “I will always be there for Paul.
“He’s a part of my life and I’m grateful for the way he treated me and always gave us respect. He’s a great person that has evolved so much, because I met him as a kid.
“He’s a father now, with three kids. So he changed so much and he will grow more. What I like about Paul is that whenever something negative happens, he does his best to find a lesson in it.”

Since returning to Juventus, Pogba has made just 12 appearances for Juventus in all competitions – only one of those outings being a start – and has not yet managed to score a goal. It was suggested that the Italian giants could potentially cancel the remainder of the four-year contract that he signed at the Juventus Stadium.
