Diesel down 6.3 cents, gas up slightly in latest PUB fuel adjustment | CBC News

The majority of fuels are down in the latest weekly adjustment by the Public Utilities Board, with the exception being gasoline — which is up 1.9 cents per litre.

The majority of fuels are down across Newfoundland and Labrador in the latest weekly adjustment by the Public Utilities Board, with the exception being gasoline — which is up 1.9 cents per litre.

The maximum price for a litre of unleaded gasoline on the Avalon Peninsula is now $1.69. The highest price continues to be along the south coast of Labrador, at $2.25.

Diesel has dropped 6.3 cents per litre on the island, and 6.2 cents per litre in Labrador West and Churchill Falls. Prices range from $2.06 to $2.24.

Furnace heating fuel has also decreased by 2.99 cents per litre, bringing it to a maximum price of $1.51 on the south coast of Newfoundland and minimum price of $1.33 on the Avalon Peninsula. 

Stove heating oil is down between 5.02 cents per litre and 5.55 cents per litre, with prices ranging from $1.36 to $1.53.
