Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has playfully debunked claims that he wrote a song for rap superstar Drake.
Drake has a new single on his album titled ‘Wick Man’ in which three songwriters are credited.
The songwriters names are listed as A. Graham (Drake), A Mamam (Producer the Alchemist) and K. De Bruyne.
The Belgian midfielder joined in the trend by writing on his X handle.

“Drake needed an assist.”
However he put up another message which read “All jokes aside, it’s not me! Huge fan though!”
De Bruyne has been inactive since August after a hamstring injury in Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Burnley on August 11 at Turf Moor.
De Bruyne has made two appearances across all competitions for Manchester City this season.
Manchester City are top of the Premier League table with 28 points after playing 12 games this season.
