The marquee T20 tournament, Legends League Cricket (LLC) commenced its second season yesterday with defending champions India Capitals, led by Gautam Gambhir, squaring off against the Irfan Pathan-led side, Bhilwara Kings.
The LLC also has two new teams this year: Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Southern Super Stars. Therefore, six teams, i.e. India Capitals, Manipal Tigers, Gujarat Giants, Urbanizers Hyderabad, Southern Superstars, and Bhilwara Kings will compete for the prestigious trophy.
Furthermore, the tournament will be competed in an array of venues, including Dehradun, Jammu, Ranchi, Surat, and Visakhapatnam.
The T20 competition’s league stage began yesterday and will go on until December 4. Qualifiers 1 and 2 will be held on December 5 and 7, respectively, with the final game taking place on December 9. The LLC 2023 edition will feature 19 matches, which is four more than the first season.
