Sudan: RSF accused of killing hundreds of people from the Masalit community in the Darfur region

It’s seven months since fighting erupted in Sudan. Away from the world’s attention, the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, are still battling for control of the capital, Khartoum.

But the RSF now controls most of the Darfur region, where they’re allegedly waging a new campaign of killing and rape.

They and allied Arab militias are accused of killing at least 1,000 people from the ethnic-African Masalit community in the town of Ardamata.
