The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular SUVs in its segment. It has been in the Indian market since 2015. Currently, we have the second generation of the Creta in the market, and it remains as popular in this segment as the first one. Over the years, we have seen several customized or modified versions of the Creta from different parts of India.
One trend among many Creta buyers recently is purchasing the base variant and modifying it with genuine accessories. Here’s a video showcasing such a transformation: the base E variant of the Creta has been neatly modified into the Knight Edition.
The video was uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger discusses all the changes made by their team to the Creta to give it the appearance of a higher variant. The base variant of the Hyundai Creta lacks features like tri-beam LED headlamps and broad LED DRLs. The halogen projector headlamps were replaced with tri-beam headlamp units. Additionally, the car now features a gloss black grille, usually seen in the Knight Edition, with red accents.
Moving to the lower part of the bumper, the silver-colored faux skid plate has been replaced with a gloss black unit from the Knight Edition. On the side profile, the turn indicators have been removed from the fenders, and chrome garnish has been added. The ORVMs have been replaced as well, now featuring integrated LED turn indicators and electrical adjustments. A gloss black side skirt has been added, giving it a cleaner look. The original steel rims have been swapped with 18-inch units seen on N Line versions.
The door handles were already body-colored, and there are no chrome garnishes on the lower window line. The SUV now sports roof rails from the Knight Edition variants, and the silver-colored garnish on the C-pillar was replaced with a gloss black unit. At the rear, the car features all-LED tail lamps from the higher variant and a shark fin antenna on the roof. The SUV underwent meticulous customization into a higher trim, and the quality of work done on it is top-notch.
Similar attention was given to the interior customization of this SUV, as per the customer’s request. It now boasts all-black interiors with custom-made seat covers that fit seamlessly. The speakers have been upgraded to Sony speakers for better sound quality. Additionally, the SUV features an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system from the brand Blaupunkt. Apart from these modifications, most other features of this SUV remain stock. It’s unclear whether the customer has upgraded the steering wheel and activated the cruise control feature, as many customers opt for these upgrades. Most of the parts used to modify this Creta are genuine Hyundai products, and this does not void the original warranty. This is definitely one of the cleanest looking Hyundai Creta E variant that has been modified into a top-end version.
