2024 Audi A6 Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

[ad_1]

Audi’s mid-size models can be a decent value so long as you’re careful with options. Then again, it’s not that hard to be prudent since Audi doesn’t offer an especially high level of customization.

We rate the lineup at 8 out of 10 thanks to standard fare, a good infotainment system with an 8.8-inch touchscreen, and its strong list of options. The 4-year/50,000-mile warranty is par for the luxury course.

The A6 range starts at $58,395 for the 45 TFSI sedan. That model includes leather seats that are heated and power-adjustable up front, a sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, navigation, a digital instrument cluster, and LED headlights. An extra $4,500 buys the far more powerful 55 TFSI engine.

Which Audi A6 should I buy?

We’re fine with the base Premium trim, at least as long as you spend $2,250 for a package with adaptive cruise control, a wireless charging pad, heated steering wheel, and a surround-view camera system.

The mid-level Premium Plus adds another $1,500 or so for better LED headlights and Bang & Olufsen audio. It’s also the gateway to massaging and cooled front seats

That said, we’re smitten with the A6 Allroad. It costs $69,595. You’ll have to spend $3,300 for adaptive cruise control, which is smartly paired with other niceties such as insulated glass, four-zone climate control, cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and rear window sunshades. Add metallic paint and Audi will want about $74,000. That’s the ideal A6, so far as we’re concerned.

How much is a fully loaded Audi A6?

Given someone else’s budget, we’d dive right into the RS 6 Avant at $126,895 to start. This high-output dream machine can be optioned up to over $150,000 with various design elements, a sport exhaust, night vision, 19 speakers,  and an air suspension.
