ATLANTA, Ga. (Nov. 30, 2023) —– University of Missouri junior quarterback Brady Cook has been named SEC Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year by a vote of the league’s head coaches, it was announced Thursday.

Cook earned his bachelor’s degree from Missouri as a magna cum laude graduate in December 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration. He is a three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Cook has thrown for 3,189 yards this season, which ranks third in the SEC and eighth on the Tigers’ all-time single season chart. He has 20 passing touchdowns this year and eight rushing scores.
