[ad_1]
One of the biggest problems in India is the glorification of stunts on public roads. With the rise of social media, a lot of young people perform stunts on roads for validation. However, these stunts most of the time cause damage to the people doing it as well as others. Recently, a car owner shared footage from his dashcam that showed a rider and pillion performing a wheelie on a scooter and crashing into the back of his car. This video was then shared on social media, and it later helped the police track down these stupid stunters and seize their scooter. Here’s what happened.
Wheelie on a busy road gone wrong
The video of this incident and its consequences has been shared on YouTube by Bad Drivers of Bangalore. Also, the entire incident and its whereabouts were shared on X as well (formerly Twitter) by Thirdeye. From the video, it can be noted that the car with the dashcam mounted on its front and rear windshield is driving slowly due to traffic on the narrow road. It has been reported that this Chinnapanna Halli locality in Bangalore, Karnataka. We can then note that a rider and pillion on a black Honda Activa can be seen turning to perform a wheelie.
The rider tries the first wheelie and then manages to avoid a crash with a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire coming from the opposite side. He then once again tries to perform a wheelie, and this time around, the dashcam-equipped car brakes, and the rider with his scooter crashes into the rear end of the car. In the video, it can be then noted that the rider had no concern after crashing and instead was laughing along with his pillion. The owner of the car can be heard shouting at the rider after they escape the situation. After this, the car owner steps outside and checks the damage that was done.

This is why dashcams are important!
Once again, this incident has proved why dashcams are one of the most important accessories that can be installed in a vehicle. These cameras, with their footage, help in getting justice in a system where things get delayed due to lack of evidence. A high-quality dashcam can help in a number of situations in proving innocence as well as catching the real culprits.
