Bugatti Mistral rocking a soft top spotted in Germany – The Supercar Blog

[ad_1]

Last month, a pre-production prototype of the Bugatti Mistral was spotted for the first time. The hypercar was seen testing in southern Italy. Now, new spy images of the Mistral have surfaced online.

This time, the Mistral was captured somewhere in Germany. As you can see from these images, it has been quite chilly off late. Not the most ideal weather to drive a million-dollar open-top hypercar. To shield the driver from the elements, this Mistral prototype is rocking an odd-looking soft top. It’s unclear if this is the same roof that will be offered on the production version.

The Bugatti Mistral was presented at Pebble Beach earlier this year. It’s the final model based on the Chiron platform and the last Bugatti to use the legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine. In its ‘Thor’ spec, this monstrous powerplant produces 1600 hp, which drives all four wheels via an all-wheel drive system.
