MODEL Lila Moss evoked memories of her supermodel mother this week — as she wore a “chic” see-through dress at a fashion bash.
The 21-year-old was joined on the night by proud Kate, 49, who had her own flash of sheer brilliance decades earlier.

Another famous mother and daughter combo at the British Fashion Awards in London on Monday were BGT judge Amanda Holden and Lexi, who opted for matching lacy outfits.
Lila appeared to pay homage to her celebrity mum as she arrived at a rain-swept Royal Albert Hall, in a striking see-through outfit by Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka.
Lila said: “I love to feel elegant, chic and sexy, and Nensi’s designs are the perfect balance of all of these vibes, so I’m feeling confident.”
The daring look put her black knickers on show, just like Kate’s did in 1993.
Lila’s mum was 19 and a rising star when she wore an eerily similar outfit at Elite Model Agency’s Look of the Year party in London.
Kate flashed a beaming smile, in contrast to her daughter’s expression — and she later claimed she had no idea how much else she would expose.
She previously told Vogue: “I did not know that this dress was see-through until the pictures came out the next day in the newspaper.
“It was the flash that made it look naked ’cause actually the fabric when I was wearing it, when I went out I didn’t think it was that see-through. But, obviously, it was.”
However she was more than happy with the outcome.
She added: “I mean, had I known I’d be talking about it 30 years later… good dress, good night.”
Despite making separate red carpet appearances, Kate left the VIP awards bash with Lila, her daughter with magazine editor Jefferson Hack.
Meanwhile, TV host Amanda, 52, showed she was more than a match for her daughter Lexi, 17, who we revealed last year has signed for Kate’s former modelling agency.
Both were in black as they arrived together — Amanda in a Bridgerton-style corseted mini dress with enormous train, and Lexi in a cut-out lace gown.
After they left, protective Amanda used her cape to shield Lexi from the rain.
She previously admitted to confiscating some of Lexi’s clothes if she deemed them too revealing. She said: “There’s this sequinned… I wouldn’t even call it a bikini top.
‘My daughter’s 16! ‘No, you’re not wearing that to Reading Festival, but Mummy can have it’.
“So Mummy’s got it, and waiting for a moment to wear it. It just about covers the bits up top that you would expect it to cover, but it was definitely not for my daughter.”
In March last year The Sun revealed how Lexi had signed for the Storm agency following huge interest from multiple market leaders.
Kate was just 14 when she joined them and stayed on their books for 28 years.
Amanda told how she and hubby Chris were proud but ”very protective”.
She said of Storm: “They came after her and they’re very lovely and nurturing and it will be a soft, slow thing and she won’t do anything until she’s 18 but they want her and that’s what she wants to do.”
