The new 40,000 sq ft facility, which has come up at the International Tech Park in the heart of Hyderabad’s IT hub of Madhapur, will have a capacity to accommodate around 400 techies and will take Cigniti’s total ODC footprint in Hyderabad to around 2.4 lakh sq ft.
The new ODC will cater to the digital assurance and digital engineering requirements of companies from sectors such as BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance), retail, healthcare and lifesciences, among others, Cigniti officals said on Friday.
The ODC is equipped with two continuous learning and innovation training centres with plans to add a digital experience centre in the near future, the company said.
Commenting on the development, Cigniti CEO Srikanth Chakkilam said the expansion will amplify the company’s capabilities.
“With additional space, advanced facilities, and enhanced infrastructure, we are poised to foster collaboration and innovation and elevate the employee experience,” said Chakkilam, who inaugurated the new facility along with Cigniti chairman CV Subramanyam.
The Hyderabad-headquartered Cigniti has a global headcount of over 4,200, of which around 2,900 are associated with the Hyderabad office. The company also has offices in the US, Canada, UK and UAE.
