Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on December 30, 2023 flag off the new Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar Terminal Delhi Vande Bharat Express train. The new Vande Bharat Express train will be flagged off in Ayodhya by the PM ahead of also inaugurating various development projects.
The new Vande Bharat Express train will provide a semi-high speed train service connectivity between Delhi and the Ayodhya Cantt station ahead of the consecration ceremony at Ram Mandir in January 2024.The train is expected to provide a comfortable world-class AC train travel option from the national capital to the pilgrim town of Ayodhya.

Train number 22425/22426 Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express: Schedule, stoppages

Train number 22426 Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Express will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi at 6:10 AM to reach Ayodhya Cantt station at 2:30 PM taking 8 hours and 20 minutes. En route the train will stop at Kanpur Central and Lucknow.
In the reverse direction on the same day, Train number 22425 Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Express will leave from the Ayodhya Cantt station at 3:20 PM and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 PM taking 8 hours and 20 minutes.
The train will run on all days of the week except for Wednesday. Train number 22425/22426 Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express will begin regular service from January 4, 2024.

The ticket price for both the Chair Car and Executive Chair Car train of the Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express is not yet known. Watch this space and we will update the fare once IRCTC releases it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Ayodhya today and he will also inaugurate the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham railway station apart from flagging off a total of 8 new trains (6 Vande Bharat Express trains and 2 Amrit Bharat Express trains).
