BCCI quotes IPL title sponsorship rights at INR 1,750 crore for five years: Reports | SportsMint Media

The Indian apex cricket governing entity, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has set an INR 350 crore per year fee for Indian Premier League (IPL) title sponsorship rights for the 74 matches, according to media sources.

It has been stated that the value of the IPL media rights for a five-year period is INR 1,750 crore.

The cricket body has also requested bidders to submit bids for 84 and 94 matches at INR 375 crore and Rs 400 crore as the base price. According to a media report citing a source, the bid would be finalised based on the aggregate worth of 74 matches.

Recently, for the title sponsor rights for the years 2024–2028, BCCI invited proposals from reputable companies.

Furthermore, rumours have suggested that BCCI is not likely to permit Chinese companies to submit bids for IPL title sponsorship.
