Every year, during the festive season, we come across stories about business owners who offer expensive gifts to their employees. Some of them have taken things to the next level and have started gifting vehicles too. This time, we have an IT company from Chennai that has gifted not one or two but 50 cars to its employees. Why a car, you ask? Well, the car was gifted as a reward for the loyalty that the employees had shown to the organization. A video of the employer gifting the cars to his employees has surfaced online.

The video has been shared by Chennai Press News on their YouTube channel. The video shows the owner of the Chennai-based IT firm handing over the keys to a variety of cars to his employees. Murali founded Ideas2IT Technology Services Pvt. Ltd. back in 2009 along with his wife. Since the beginning, his employees stood with him and faced all the challenges. By gifting his loyal employees, he is fulfilling his wish to pay back for their support.

Talking to the media, Murali also said, “My partner and I have been holding all the shares. We have now decided to convert the shares, providing 33 percent of the shares to long-term employees. We also started the wealth-sharing program by which we decided to give 50 cars to our employees.” This is not the first time Murali’s company has gifted cars; last year, Murali had gifted around 100 cars to his employees.

He also added that many of his employees who got the car as a gift are owning a car for the first time in their life. Many of them are youngsters too. It looks like Murali has gifted cars from the Maruti Suzuki brand to his employees. We see cars like Maruti Baleno, Ignis, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Swift, Brezza, and even Ertiga in the video. In this video, we see a woman employee who has been working with them for the last 5 years.

In the video, she can be heard talking to the media and expressing her excitement. She told the media that she never thought that the company would consider her for the gift as there were reports that the car would be gifted to the developer team members only. She is really happy with the gift and also mentions how even women are given equal opportunities in the firm.

This is not the first time an Indian firm has gifted cars to its employees. Last year during Diwali, MitsKart pharma company owner in Panchkula decided to make Diwali special for his employees by gifting 12 Tata Punch SUVs. Mr. Bhatia, owner of MitsKart, was impressed with the dedication and hard work of his staff and decided to give them a car. Similarly, we saw another video from Tamil Nadu where the owner of a tea estate in Kotagiri town, Nilgiri district, gifted his employees brand-new Royal Enfield motorcycles as festive bonuses before Diwali. As per the reports available online, a total of 15 motorcycles were gifted to the employees by the owner himself.
