Bethenny Frankel blasts backlash over new photo

Bethenny Frankel was not interested in what her haters had to say as she enjoyed poking fun at herself on Instagram.
The former Real Housewives of New York star snapped a selfie of herself dressed in a white robe, in the reflection of a hotel elevator alongside an older couple who looked somewhat confused. She also shared other photos of herself in the hotel wearing slippers, going makeup free and rocking disheveled hair.
Frankel posted the elevator photo to Instagram with the caption, “POV [point of view]: You’re staying at the same hotel as Bethenny Frankel… #truelife #thisisme #nofilter #nomakeup #robe #slippers #sendhelp #hotellife.”
But some people were less than impressed with Frankel’s choice of hotel attire and the caption on her video. When they shared their opinion in her comments, she was quick to clap back.
“I have enjoyed things you have shown yet you seem to be doing this for entertainment,” wrote one of her followers. “Why would you need to be running around throughout the halls in a bathrobe? Doesn’t make sense to me.”
To which Frankel quipped: “doesn’t need to bc it’s not your life. Maybe go live your own.”
Another person commented: “Ha my take is he doesn’t know who you are. just a lady and her house slippers. Love you everyone doesn’t care who you are ? He was just thankful someone was dressed like his wife.’
Frankel accused that person of being “jealous and triggered… so much so that you took time out of your very busy day to comment. Bless your heart.”
The reality star is no stranger to sharing her opinions on her social media, and recently came under fire for her comments about Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. After he celebrated his third Super Bowl win with the Chiefs earlier this month, Frankel compared him to a caveman and a “peacock” who needs to be the center of attention.
The backlash may have led to Frankel taking the unprecedented step of switching off the comments in her following two posts which saw her applying cosmetics and skin care.
She had also shared her thoughts on Kelce’s relationship with superstar singer Taylor Swift and whether it will stand the test of time.
“It just hit me,” the former reality star began one video posted to Instagram. She went on to recount how she had dated a guy similar to Kelce, who was a “big burly charismatic man who needed to be the center of attention.
“Being in that relationship made me feel like I was driving without breaks. It was just really fun and really electric, but this person just always wanted to party.”
Frankel added: “But when you get into real life and you get into kids and marriage and things like that… it’s not easy [and] relationships take work. And it’s hard, because Taylor Swift is certainly a peacock. So [there] really usually can only be one peacock in a relationship.”
