Ashleigh Merchant, the lawyer for Trump co-defendant Michael Roman, hit a roadblock in her efforts to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the sweeping RICO case against former President Donald Trump and his allies.
During Tuesday’s hearing on the misconduct allegations, Judge Scott McAfee blocked a string of questions Merchant had for Terrence Bradley, the former law partner and divorce attorney of special prosecutor Nathan Wade, about when he first learned of the relationship between Willis and Wade.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
