The Los Angeles Lakers will be without superstar LeBron James for Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks as the team has ruled him out with a sore left ankle.
James was forced to exit Wednesday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings early due to the ankle injury. He finished the game with 31 points and 13 assists.
After the game, he told reporters he would be “all right,” per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
James, 39, is averaging 25.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.0 assists in his 21st NBA season.
The Lakers are right in the middle of a bunched-up Western Conference playoff race. They are currently 10th, but sit just four games back of the fifth-placed New Orleans Pelicans.
You can watch Anthony Davis and the Lakers take on the Bucks live on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT.
