But United are claimed to value the 26-year-old closer to £100m, which could require PSG to add one of their current forwards to sweeten a deal if they can’t meet the asking price.
Express Sport runs through three potential options to make up what would be a stellar striker switch-up at the dawn of the Sir Jim Ratcliffe era at Old Trafford.
Randal Kolo Muani
Randal Kolo Muani was reportedly high on United’s shortlist after walking away from talks with Tottenham Hotspur over Harry Kane last summer.
However, the club opted for Rasmus Hojlund in a £72m deal, while Kolo Muani left Eintracht Frankfurt for PSG for the slightly higher price of £76m.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has played as prominent a role as he would’ve hoped this season, though, making just 16 starts.
He has registered nine goals and three assists in 30 appearances and could provide Hojlund with the competition he has missed this term.
Goncalo Ramos
Goncalo Ramos, like Kolo Muani, was previously linked with a move to Old Trafford for Hojlund sealed a dream switch from Atalanta.
The 22-year-old joined PSG on loan from Benfica, also last summer, before Les Parisiens made the deal permanent for £70m in November.
He has played a similar role to Kolo Muani this term, playing 29 times and starting on just 15 occasions. Ramos also has nine goals to his name with one further assist.
Reports this year have claimed that PSG could already be looking to cash in on the Portugal international. He could be the perfect makeweight in a Rashford deal if United’s interest remains.
Ousmane Dembele
PSG were busy on the attacking front last summer. Ousmane Dembele joined Kolo Muani and Ramos in landing at the Parc des Princes.
Since leaving Barcelona in a £44m move, Dembele has made 32 appearances, 24 starts. In his maiden season in France, he has scored just once but provided 12 assists.
Antony has flopped since his £86m arrival in 2022, with Alejandro Garnacho now Erik ten Hag’s favoured right-winger and Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise strongly linked.
Dembele has also previously been linked with United, and rather than posing as a new striker, he could solve the club’s right-wing issues.
