LIVE: Ref’s ‘shenanigans’ plea in fiery encounter

Alright everyone breathe.

That’s half time at Shark Park and that had the intensity of a semi-final, not a round two clash!

There is so much feeling between the two sides. There was another brouhaha, which forced Ziggy to get involved.

“No more shenanigans… take control or I will,” he told captains Cam McInnes and Stephen Crichton.

Not long after, Crichton got booed after he almost took the head off the bloke in the third row of the stands with a lovely left footer after a play had gone dead.

“A Tottenham striker would’ve been happy with that,” Steve Roach said in commentary for Fox League.

A couple of players were already starting to cramp late in that half too, such is the pace that 40 minutes was played.

Viliame Kikau was also taken from the ground for a HIA late in the half, copping a stray shoulder to the head in a tackle.
