Police in London are searching for two teenagers wanted on charges of manslaughter in the death of 16-year-old boy on Wednesday evening.
Police said warrants have been issued for the arrests of Treyton Hoffman, 18, of London and a 16-year-old male who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Malik McDonnell-Mills, 16, was found near Thompson Rd. and King Edward Ave. in the Glen Cairn neighbourhood around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. He had life-threatening injuries and later died in hospital.
McDonnell-Mills was going into Grade 10 at Montcalm Secondary School and lived in the Kipps Lane area.
Neighbours who were home the night McDonnell-Mills died said they heard a group of teenagers screaming, then saw some running down the street.
Police have not said if a weapon was involved. Investigators are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of the two wanted teenagers to call 9-1-1.
