West Ham United Interested In Awoniyi

West Ham United will table a bid for Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi in the summer.
According to Football365.com, Nottingham Forest are open to selling the Nigeria international to avoid another breach of the Premier League’s financial rules.
Nottingham Forest, according to the Premier League admitted to breaching the
Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules.
The Tricky Trees have already been handed a four-point deduction as punishment for their offence.
Forest are however at risk of committing same offence next season if they don’t sell one of their top stars in the summer.

Awoniyi has been touted as the player they will be willing to sell to rake in the needed cash.
West Ham showed interest in the striker last summer but had their offer firmly rejected by Forest.
The Hammers are set to move again for the former Liverpool player at the end of the season.
Awoniyi has already scored twice against West this season.
The 26-year-old has scored six league goals this season.
He joined Nottingham Forest from Bundesliga outfit, Union Berlin for £17.5m in June 2022.
