SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — One person was killed in a shooting in San Francisco on Thursday night, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed.
The shooting happened at Powell Street and Market Street, near the Powell BART station. The victim died at the scene.
An alert was sent out by the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management at 9:51 p.m. telling people to avoid the area.
