On the tech front, the big news for 2024 is that the frustrating touchpad infotainment system is gone. The old infotainment system has been swapped out for a new 12.3-inch touchscreen. The new infotainment system runs the brand’s latest software, which is a huge improvement. It’s great to see that some automakers are finally realizing that touchpads and rotary dials for the infotainment system are frustrating and not as easy to use as a simple touchscreen. It also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but without a wireless charger, you’ll still need to bring a wire to keep your phone charged.

Under the hood, the LC 500 is powered the brand’s familiar and much loved 5.0-liter V8 with 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It only needs 4.4 seconds to reach 60 mph. If you want a more fuel efficient version, there’s the LC 500h hybrid that mates a 3.5-liter V6 to an electric motor to give it 354 hp.
