West Ham fans tore into Vladimir Coufal for his role in Brennan Johnson’s goal for Tottenham in their 1-1 draw on Tuesday (2 April).

The anger from the Hammers faithful came after Timo Werner assisted the winger after just five minutes at the London Stadium.

The German beat Coufal down the left before finding the feet of the Welsh international, who put the visitors 1-0 up.

It was always going to be a tough night for the Hammers, with their London rivals keen to continue their push for Champions League football with a win.

And they stormed into a 1-0 lead away from home, with Werner easing past Coufal before feeding Johnson in the six-yard box.

The match finished 1-1 after Kurt Zouma’s equaliser, but Hammers fans made their thoughts clear about their right-back on social media following the early Tottenham goal.
