Police searching for homicide suspects, 1 seen leaving in victim’s sweatshirt

DENVER (KDVR) — Police in Glendale are looking for three suspects in a deadly shooting that happened at the Urban Phenix Apartments early Friday.
The Glendale Police Department said one of the suspects was seen leaving the homicide scene wearing the victim’s sweatshirt.
The shooting happened in the Virginia Village neighborhood at the Urban Phenix Apartments in the 4700 block of East Mississippi Avenue.
Police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds on the scene and despite lifesaving efforts, one of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene. GPD said the other victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said three suspects were seen fleeing from the apartment complex at 2:59 a.m.
A woman, suspect 1, was invited to the complex by the victim, according to police. She is later seen opening the security gate to allow two male suspects to enter the complex.
She is estimated to be about 20 to 25 years old. She is described as a Hispanic woman with a slim build, dark eyes, and dark, straight, medium-length hair with a possible hoop ring in the right nostril.
She was seen leaving the scene wearing the victim’s sweatshirt, according to a release from Glendale Police.
Suspect 2 is described as a taller man with possibly dark skin and a medium build. GPD said he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect 3 is described as a man with possibly dark skin and a distinct tattoo on the back of his left hand. GPD said he was wearing a dark Nike hoodie, black pants and a belt possibly with rhinestones on it.
