Prince Harry is set to miss out on a potential role as a “top adviser” to Prince William if the latter ever takes the throne, a royal expert has claimed.
It had been thought Harry would have been his older brother’s closest confidante but their relationship has reportedly suffered following several claims made by the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle against the Royal Family.
William could now potentially look elsewhere for support when he takes the throne from his father King Charles III in the future.
Royal commentator Charles Rae told The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show: “When William becomes King, I always believed Harry would be one of his top advisers. I think that’s out of the window.
“That’s what Diana always wanted, the boys to remain as close as possible, they had each other, and it was them against the rest of the world but of course now it’s not happening.”
