SAN FRANCISCO — A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of producing child pornography, and federal authorities say they’ve gathered evidence he sexually abused at least four boys and propositioned others.

Henry Muller was indicted this month on charges of child pornography production, distributing child pornography, and receiving child pornography. In court records, prosecutors described him as San Francisco resident who worked for United Airlines at San Francisco International Airport.

Muller remains in federal custody at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, records show. His next court date has been set for the end of August.

In court filings, prosecutors allege that authorities were interviewing an 18-year-old man in an unrelated child exploitation case when he revealed he’d been abused by Muller when he was 17. The investigation led to search warrants being served at Muller’s home and work locker, leading to the discovery of more than 800 photos and 60 videos depicting child pornography, prosecutors say.

But Muller wasn’t just possessing child pornography, according to the indictment. In July 2022, he allegedly sexually abused a15-year-old boy he met on Grindr, an LGTBQ dating application, at Muller’s San Francisco home. He is also accused of continuously molesting a boy who was 13-14 at the time, and also allegedly discussed wanting to sexually abuse a 9-year-old boy.

It is also alleged that Muller recorded himself sexually abusing the 15-year-old and shared the video with at least one other person.

When one 17-year-old Muller was talking to online confirmed he hadn’t turned 18 and that their conduct was “basically rape,” Muller allegedly replied, “definitely rape” and followed it up with a lewd comment reveling in the fact that the teen was “underage,” prosecutors said.

In another conversation, Muller allegedly said the two “could brainwash the cutest kid at a foster home and making him into their sex slave,” prosecutors wrote in court filings.

If convicted of child pornography production, Muller faces between 15 and 30 years in federal prison, according to the indictment.
