Saskatoon police are investigating a suspicious death.

Officers were called to a house at 3206 33rd St. W just before noon Monday. They were called because of reports of an “insecure property.” They did not elaborate on what that meant.

They found a woman dead in the basement. The news release did not indicate cause of death, or her age.

Late Monday, police still had the home and yard taped off, with police blocking access.
