Jamie Foxx said he’s finally starting to feel like himself again after suffering a mysterious “medical complication” in April that left him hospitalized for months.
“You’re lookin at a man who is thankful,” the Oscar winner, 55, said on Instagram Wednesday.
“Finally startin to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light,” he wrote alongside a series of images of himself.
The actor said he was “thankful” for all the well wishes during his health scare.
“U just don’t know how much it meant,” he went on. “I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day… #swipeleft #imbackandimbetter #nobaddays.”
Fans and celebs alike rushed to the comments section to share their support, with actor Jeremy Renner, who suffered his own health complications earlier this year, writing, “Bless you my friend !!!❤️❤️.”
Singer Tamar Braxton wrote, “Brother I know that feeling!!! It only gets better from here! Thank God❤️❤️❤️❤️,” while “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais penned, “God is amazing and so are you! ❤️.”
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, added, “I along with the world pray for you regularly you are such a special man such a gift to the world of entertainment. God bless you love, mama Tina.”
The “Django Unchained” actor fought back tears last month as he divulged the “hellish” experience amid his health battle.
“I went through something I thought I would never, ever go through,” Foxx said in a July 22 video on Instagram, informing his 16 million followers he’s not “blind” or “paralyzed.”
