1 dead, 2 seriously injured after crash north of London | CBC News

One person is dead and two people are in hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash at an intersection just east of the rural community of Ilderton and northwest of London Saturday evening.

One person is dead and two people are in hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash at an intersection just east of the rural community of Ilderton and northwest of London on Saturday evening.

Emergency crews were called to Ilderton Road and Wonderland Road North, west of Highway 4, at about 9:23 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a pickup truck and car had crashed at the intersection.

An occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were taken to hospital with critical injuries.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.

Ilderton Road is closed between Willow Ridge Road and Richmond Street and Wonderland Road North is closed between 10 Mile Road and 12 Mile Road. The OPP said the road closure will continue as the try to determine the cause of the crash.
