Hawaii wildfires: is it too early for tourists to return to West Maui?

It’s been a month since Hawaii’s historic resort town of Lahaina was almost levelled to the ground, after America’s worst wildfires for more than a century.

But in just a few weeks’ time the state’s governor wants the island of West Maui to reopen for tourism, saying keeping people employed will help them heal faster. But is it all too soon to welcome holiday makers back?
