Man arrested in connection with ‘threatening and abusive behaviour’ in city centre

The alleged disturbance, which was directed at police officers, took place on North Hanover Street in the city centre at around 2.40pm. 

Now, the force has confirmed that the 32-year-old will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour directed at police officers, following an incident on North Hanover Street, Glasgow, around 2.50pm on Thursday, September 14. 

“He will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
