Could the 14th amendment be used to stop Trump from running for presidency again?

In the United States, Republican and Democratic opponents of Donald Trump are considering using a rarely-used section of the constitution to stop him from running in next year’s presidential election.

The 14th amendment, written after the civil war, has been used in two major lawsuits already stating that the former president is constitutionally ineligible to hold federal office because of his actions around the storming of the capital on January 6th.
