A 16-year-old male was allegedly stabbed last week at around 12.20pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, near Thorn Court.
He was taken to hospital where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
Now two 18-year-old males have been arrested in connection.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Johnstone.
“A 16-year-old male youth was assaulted and stabbed around 12.20pm on Wednesday, 13 September, 2023, near Thorn Court. He was taken to hospital where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“The 18-year-old man was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 19 September, 2023.
“Another 18-year-old man has already been arrested and charged and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 15 September, 2023.”
